This is by far my favorite! Smooth... Great for pour overs!
A smooth , flavorful cup ! Great for Pour Over .
Balanced flavor with a nice non bitter finish.
Would buy again..
I couldn't refuse their buy one get one free with free shipping offer. I was not disappointed. It was delivered in a week and I hit the mixture of grounds to water spot on the first time. This is Colombian coffee the way it used to taste before whatever went south with harvesting and roasting for mass production by other coffee companies, even the independents. No blending with other varieties to mask the impurity of the Arabaca bean and not over roasted. Nutty and delicious. Coming back for more for sure!
I tend to enjoy Colombian and Central American coffees, and this one makes a very nice cup of coffee. I've used it with a pour over, in a Keurig basket, and with an aeropress, and I got very good results. Very tasty, and very good with a little creamer (my tastes). I took off 1 star because it's a fairly basic Colombian coffee (again it's good just not spectacular) and I've yet to be able to make this into a good espresso, but maybe that's harsh because it's not really intended to be an espresso roast.
I did get these on a Buy 1 Get 1 offer so for this purchase, it was an amazing value. Even at full price it's worth it in my opinion.
Shipping was extremely fast, I got mine in a few days.
If the sticker on the bottom has the roast date, then it was sent to me the same day it was roasted. If that's a "start to use" date (letting it rest) then that's fine too -- though I did let it sit a few days in case the date was a "roasted on".
Ok deal, fast . Always appreciate that
